The person of interest is based on the story of a former CIA agent, John Reese who is assumed to be dead. He partners with Harold Finch, a billionaire tech genius, and together they use a strong artificial intelligence (AI) to track down criminals in New York and dispense their term of justice.

The mentalist and person of interest have a lot in common ranging from mystery, action, police procedural, and above all crime, also feature similarity in their team spirit and their aim but a difference in their techniques of capturing criminals. While John and Harold in the person of interest series use artificial intelligence (AI) machines to track down criminals, Patrick Jane uses observational skills.
The Blacklist
An officer of the law is presently a criminal. He order to get the freedom he wants, he makes a deal. Blacklist is a thrilling mysterious action crime drama based in America that premiered on September 23rd, 2013, and is still ongoing with its runtime of 40 to 45 minutes.
Created and written by Jon Bokenkamp, the blacklist is based on a former U.S Navy officer but now a wanted criminal named Raymond “Red” Reddington (James Spader) who voluntarily turns himself into the police with a promise of catching other dangerous criminals in the world of which he has a compiled list that he made himself but in there are two conditions – he will get immunity from prosecution and he must work with the FBI profiler, Elizabeth Keen (Megan Boone).
The series with 9 seasons, a total of 179 episodes has almost the same features with a person of interest. Just as John and Harold worked together to achieve a common objective, Raymond and Elizabeth worked together as well to achieve a common objective in mind.
Fringe
A team uses science to solve mysteries happening in the town. Fringe, created by J.J Abrams, Alex Kurtzman, and Roberto Orci was premiered on September 9th, 2008 to January 18th, 2013 with a runtime of 40 minutes (season 1) and 43 minutes (season 2 to 5)
Filled with science fiction and drama, Fringe follows the life of an FBI special agent, Olivia Dunham (Anna Torv) who works with Walter Bishop ( John Noble), a mad scientist, and his scheming son, Peter Bishop (Joshua Jackson) under a fictional Fringe Division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation located in Boston, Massachusetts supervised by Homeland security. The trio makes use of Fringe science and FBI techniques for the investigation to uncover a series of sudden mysterious occurrences.
The 5 seasons amassing 100 episodes, despite having low ratings were nominated for major awards. It has been reproduced into two six-part comic book series, an alternate reality game, and three novels.
Fringe portrays a good team spirit between Olivia, Walter, and Peter just like John and Harold although different aims in mind – the former to solve mysteries, the latter to capture criminals.
Elementary
A man joins forces with his sobriety companion to tackle crimes. Set in America, Elementary is a mysterious procedural crime drama created by Robert Doherty and based on the work of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s character, Sherlock Holmes.
The 7 seasoned series with a total of 154 episodes is based on the life of a former consultant to Scotland yard and recovering drug addict, Sherlock Holmes who works with Dr. Joan Watson (Lucy Liu), a former surgeon hired by Sherlock’s father, Morland Holmes (John Noble) in rehabilitating recovery to uncover crimes.
Elementary which was aired from September 27th, 2012 to August 15th, 2019 with a runtime of 43 to 46 minutes features team spirit but included a little bit of romance and the development of warm feelings for someone you initially hated.
Mr. Robot
Recruited to bring down the company you are paid to protect, a young man is in a dilemma.
Mr. Robot is a combination of psychological and techno-thriller and as usual, a drama set in New York City. It was created by Sam Email was aired from June 24th, 2015 to December 22nd, 2019 with a runtime of 40 to 65 minutes.
Following the life of a socially anxious and clinically depressed young American computer programmer, Elliot Alderson(Rami Malek) who is a cyber security engineer during the day and hacker in the night. He is recruited by a cryptic anarchist named Mr. Robot (Christian Slater) into a group of hackers known as the “society”. It aims at bringing down a company that he (Elliot) has been paid to protect. He is faced with a dilemma. The urge to destroy the heads of the company that he believes is ruining it is just as strong as his belief and work to protect it.
The series have received numerous awards including two Golden Globe Awards, three Primetime Emmy Award, and one Peabody Award. Mr. Robot and person of interest so many things ranging from crime-fighting, programming, hacking, computer genius, team spirit, characters in danger, protecting, and many more.
