What’s the best advice you received before coming out to play?

The best advice I received has gotta be from my mom. She said, “Just be yourself. Everybody else has already taken.” So going into the Big Brother house, I’m just going to be as genuine, as nice, and as goofy as possible. (Laughs.)

What do you think people will perceive you as?

I think when people first see me, they’re gonna see this 6’3″ Ken doll-looking guy. They might think I’m a dumb blonde. But hopefully, as they get to know me, they realize I’m a genuine guy that wants to play the game of Big Brother.

What types of players would you least want in your alliance?

So I’m a very chill guy. I don’t like conflict. And I think the type of person that I’m going to butt heads with most are those Type-A dominant personalities that want to rule the house and dictate what happens in the alliance. Those are the people that I’m going to try and distance myself from, and hopefully not get in too many fights with.

What’s something the other houseguests may dislike about you?

So I’m the type of person that always makes light of every situation. If there are fights and quarrels, I’m the type of guy that tries to make a joke and make people laugh to feel better. That might rub people the wrong way when people are trying to play the game hard and be very serious. I’m definitely a goofy guy. And hopefully, my jokes won’t rub people the wrong way. (Laughs.)

On eviction night, would you rather flip the votes against the house to help your individual game, or go with the house to help your overall alliance?

Ooh, that’s a good question. And I think it depends on which stage of the game. Early on, it’s key to have that strong core, that alliance that will push you through the rest of the game. But near the end of the game, you have to start looking out for yourself. And I think flipping the house at that point is going to be the best move from my personal game.

What do you think?
