The National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) has denied ordering the suspension of ongoing Big Brother Naija Reality Tv Show.
A report on social media on Friday speculates that the Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed had directed NBC to stop Big Brother Naija broadcast immediately.
Recall Big Brother Naija: Lockdown returned for a fifth season on 19 July 2020 on DStv channel 198 & GOtv channel 29 and the winner is expected to walk away with ₦85 million grand prize
Speaking on the news, the Acting Director-General of Nationa Broadcasting Commission, Dr. Armstrong Idachaba said it was not true that BBNaija had been suspended.
Dr Idachaba dissociated the NBC from the report and urged Nigerians to disregard the news.
