Coronavirus: BBNaija Star, Ifu Ennada Laments about the high price of Disposable Face Mask (Video)

Former Big Brother Naija housemate & and Business Entrepreneur Iheme Faith Uloma; popularly known as Ifu Ennada, took to her Instagram page to lament the hike in the price of face mask in Nigeria due to the confirmation of the deadly Coronavirus disease in Lagos State, Nigeria.

Recall earlier on, bbn.ng reported that the federal ministry of health confirmed the first case of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) case in Nigeria. The case, which was confirmed on February 27 is the first to be reported in the country since the outbreak of the viral disease in China in January.

Following this, many Nigerians especially those in Lagos, are taking precautionary actions in order to avoid getting infected with the virus. One way is by wearing face masks. However, it appears sellers of these disposable face masks are using the opportunity to cash out as much as possible.

Sharing a video of a pharmacist confirming the price to be N15,000, she stated that Nigerians are their own problems

“Disposable face mask now 15,000 naira! No longer 750naira or 10,000 naira which was the latest price in Lekki this morning like I reported some mins ago. This video was sent to me by one of my sisters who’s on the mainland. Nigerians, we are our own problem. I hope these Pharmacies ripping people off their money also educate them on how to use,” she wrote.
