The Fifth Edition of Big Brother Naija Reality Tv Show 5 recorded over 900 million votes from viewers across all voting platforms.
Recall last year’s edition “Pepper Dem” recorded over 240 million votes, this year’s record braking votes of 900 million makes the biggest and most successful season yet.
Managing Director of MultiChoice Nigeria Mr. John Ugbe made this known during the Winner prize presentation show, Mr. John Ugbe disclosed that this season recorded the highest number of votes since its inception.
He further stated that not all of the votes came from the usual SMS voting method which cost 30 Naira per SMS, some of the votes were from the website, GOTV and DSTV application platforms.
Meanwhile, Laycon the winner of Big Brother Naija Season 5 has also be presented his prizes worth over N85million.
