The sixteen Big Brother 24 houseguests who will compete in the upcoming “Big Brother” Season 24 reality tv show have finally been revealed. The hit CBS summer reality show will be back for its 24th season in the USA and the season will premiere on July 6, 2022, with a live move-in on CBS.
Big Brother follows a group of people living together in a house outfitted with dozens of high-definition cameras and microphones recording their every move, 24 hours a day. Each week, the Houseguests will vote someone out of the house. In the end, the last remaining Houseguest will receive the grand prize of $750,000.
Big Brother 24 kicks off with a live, 90-minute premiere on Wednesday, July 6 at 8/7c, followed by three-times-a-week airings on Sundays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 8 pm. Host Julie Chen Moonves has already warned us of new challenges and a new twist that awaits them, as well as a big game-changer on the first eviction night.
This season’s 16 new Big Brother 24 houseguests, all entering the house with their eyes set on the $750,000 grand prize. This season’s roster skews ever-so-slightly older than previous years, with a median age of 30 with the youngest houseguest being just 22 years old, while the oldest competitor at 47 years old.
Also among the player moving in for season 24 is a thrift store owner, a private chef, an attorney, a Vegas performer, a hypnotherapist, a chemical processing engineer, an interior designer, a bus operator and more from all over the country. Two of the houseguests are originally from outside the U.S. in Nigeria and Brazil.
The theme of this summer is called “the BB Fest,” host Julie Chen Moonves explains, “Every week throughout the summer, you’re going to see different themes, like a music fest, a comedy fest, a renaissance fest. But my personal favorite – I think most people will agree – is going to be the Zing Fest.”
