Some of you may or may not know that acting is my first love. I went to drama school in London, then went to university, then became a police officer but I never left my love for acting! The majority of my acting work has been in theatre in London and Italy (yes I’ve acted roles speaking in Italian too!) but this scene from Lost in London was my first small role in a feature film and I loved it!

The scene before this didn’t make the final edit of the film (catch it on @netflix if you haven’t seen it!) but myself and @alexxekubo’s characters had met, I picked him up in my taxi and he found out I was Nigerian living abroad and we started having a discussion about how great it is to support and build each other up wherever we find ourselves in the world. Of course his character took it a bit too far when he thought that support meant he didn’t have to pay me the taxi fare lol!

But in real life, I remember being super nervous on set and Alex being so reassuring and supportive of me, wanting us both to win and kill this scene! I hope we did? 🤣 I know your birthday was a month ago Alex but this is an appreciation post to say thank you for being you and being someone who epitomises working together for the common good! Your recent interviews on Nollywood show this even more!! We met on set in 2016 and have been friends ever since.

You are one of the good guys @alexxekubo, thank you!! And to everyone still working on their goals and getting to where they want to be, keep it up!! You’ve got a cheerleader in me 😇
